Curried Potatoes with Salt fish

Preparation Time: 15 Minutes
Cooking Time: 20 Minutes
Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup HOME CHOICE BONELESS SALTFISH. (Boiled and flaked)
  • 2 lbs Potatoes diced
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 stalk scallions
  • 1/2 tsp HOME CHOICE JAMAICAN CRUSHED PEPPER
  • 2 tbsp HOME CHOICE JAMAICAN CURRY PASTE.
  • 1 Can green peas.
  • 1/4 cup oil.
  • 1 cup water

Method:

  1. Heat oil, sauté onions, garlic, scallions & pepper, add Home Choice Curry Paste and fry for 1 minute.
  2. Add potatoes and stir, add water and allow to cook under medium flame until potatoes are tender.
  3. Add saltfish and green peas and simmer for another 5 minutes.

Tip:

  • More water can be added to make more gravy if desired.
  • Home Choice Jamaican Curry paste has all the necessary seasoning & salt.
